Sunhill
Shar Pei is located in the central part of South Carolina (the "Midlands"), less than thirty minutes from I-20, I-26 and I-77.
Wanda Stanley, owner of Sunhill Shar Pei, became interested in the breed in 1985, purchasing
her first shar pei from Acapella Kennels. Her name was Jade, a lovely fawn horsecoat show girl.
Wanda recalls, "I began showing her - so inexperienced was I - it was a joke, but
I had a lot of fun. I guess what saved the day was that Jade was so well socialized that she would go anywhere with anybody, let anybody go over her, poke in her mouth. she was totally nonplussed."
"In late 1988 I accepted a job in Stuttgart, Germany, and took Jade and one of her offspring with me. It wasn't long before I got read into the show scene. I showed in eight countries: Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Spain, and one other I can't recall right now. I am still showing (mostly using a handler) and still love it greatly."
PUPPIES AVAILABLE NOW: BLACK, BROWN, CHOCOLATE, CREAM, CREAM DILUTE, FAWN.
